How full is your fridge right now? It always seems like it’s overflowing with more food than you or an entire family of 12 could possibly get through before it expires, or it’s utterly barren, save for a box of baking soda that you’re not entirely sure of how it got in there. If it’s the former, consider yourself lucky. Not everyone is fortunate enough to have so much food at their disposal. However, like we mentioned, it’s nearly impossible to get through all of it.
So what happens? You wind up having to throw a lot of it away. It’s wasteful, but what are you going to do? We’ve all heard that the expiration dates are more of a suggestion than a demand, but are you willing to risk it on some milk? We buy in bulk because taking constant trips to the grocery store is annoying, but wasting food is also a terrible habit we all feel awful over doing. Is there anything we can do?
