Children are our future. Depending on some of the kids you’ve associated with recently, this should chill you to your bone marrow. It’s our responsibility to educate the next generation and leave our country in good hands. The problem, though, is that our educational system (nor maybe any educational system) is effective enough to be able to get through to some of these kids. We’d like to believe that every student is salvageable, but the evidence sadly isn’t there.
We aren’t speaking hypothetically, either. We have some witnesses that can back up these claims. The internet asked users on Reddit to describe some of the dumbest students they’ve seen and, well… we’ll just let them tell you their stories. Teachers, professors and fellow students give their first hand accounts of how the educational system in our country is broke af… and some of these future leaders (*gulp*) may have been the ones who broke it.
