The holidays can be rough. Which holidays? Any of them, really. Let’s go through the list. If you’re single (and especially if you’re very recently single), Valentine’s Day is the worst. It seems like international “Remind You That Nobody Loves You Right Now” day, and everyone is happy to celebrate and shove it in your face. The Fourth of July? If you have dogs, have fun reassuring them that it’s all going to be okay all night long as maniacs outside blow up whatever they can because, you know… ‘Merica.
Then of course there’s Thanksgiving and the winter holidays where you have to spend way too much money on inflated airline tickets to spend your precious free time with your family and desperately try to avoid getting into political discussions that will result in huge fights. Then, before you know it, it’s Valentine’s Day again. Yaaaaaay. Luckily, in the middle of all this, there is one holiday that is still pure and wonderful.
